Kirsty-A poem about my Teddy

My Teddy Emily

My teddy Emily,

Wondering whether she’ll come to life,

Delighted to see her,

Beautiful to me,

As I squeeze her really hard.

My teddy Emily,

Thinking can she see or hear me?

Looking forward to cuddling her,

Soft as a brand new cushion,

As I nuzzle into her fur.

My teddy Emily,

Thinking to my self I like her but does she like me?

Caring for my favourite toy,

Her fur all silky smooth,

As I cuddle her while I fall asleep.

My teddy Emily,

Wondering if I’ll have her forever,

Loving her like a pet,

Glinting beady eyes,

As I realize she has fallen off my bed in the

morning.

    Hi,
I like the powerful words in this poem: nuzzle, glinting and silky really hep me see your teddy. Well done.
