I hope that you have a great time and don’t tire out Mrs Campbell-Morgan too much !
Hello Loirston
Can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you got up to during your week at Dunolly.
White water rafting sounds incredibly fun (and wet!)
What exactly is gorge walking? Is it like bush walking do you think?
We think that the house you stayed in looks like a castle – we don’t have castles here in Australia – was the house haunted by any chance?
gorge walking is when you walk into a burn climbing up rocks with the water up to your knees.
Is a burn a river or stream?
yes a burn is a scottish word for stream there is little ones and big ones we had a big one because it was on a hill.
Thanks for explaining it for us – one more question though!
Do you have to wear special boots or shoes if you are walking in water? Is the water really cold? Does anyone ever fall in?
Sorry – can’t count – that’s three more questions
well if you dont want to fall put your foot on the moss and the water is not that cold .It doesn’t matter because you get wett socks like a wet suite but you need to where old shoes we did if that helps.
