Drama: Evacuation

Yesterday in drama, we were pretending to be evacuees from ww2. We all got into groups, and we all got a card for each group. Then we acted out a story, saying what it would be like during the war. After that, we wrote an evacuee’s letter.

Here are some pictures of what we did:

A couple of years ago Primary 7 pupils at our schools acted out a real evacuation.  You can watch the video of it and some interviews that they did by clicking this link.

Fantastic! I love your link to the ‘wardetectives’ project from a few years ago ….. have you always been so great with technology at Loirston? I’ll enjoy sharing this with p7 at Carronshore soon.

We’ve had loads of problems with our new server, too. Bubbleshare and flickr are now working again, but we can’t our videos or Rock You because they’re still blocked :((

Last year at camp our school also had to act out things for a play but we didn’t write letters or act out ww2.We wonder how the children coped with the war? I bet there was a lot of screaming.
