Our melting test

We were doing a science test about solids and liquids. We found out that out of margerine,butter,milk chocolate,dark chocolate, ice, lard and jelly the ice melted quickest even though it is a hard solid. Here is a clip of what happened.

It is interesting to see the results of your experiment. You will remember the results when you need to melt solids again – maybe when you are next helping in the kitchen!

This sounds like a very interesting experiment.

Do you think that the ice melted quicker because it was colder than the other substances tested?
