One day Michelle and Jodie bumed into each other in the play ground and started to speak. “Hi Jodie,” shouted michelle happly .
“Hi Michelle!” exclamied Jodie.
“Ahh there a wasp!” screamed Michelle.
“Ahhhh,” said Jodie worriedly.
“Is it gone?” asked Michelle quietly.
” I think so ,”gasped Jodie.
“Want to play?” questioned Michelle.
“OK,” answered Jodie.
And off they went to play.
So many ‘marks’ are needed to punctuate a piece of writing correctly! ! ! I hope your work with the puppets has helped to explain and helped you understand this tricky writing skill.I look forward to reading some other pieces of writing that use written dialogue.
Good effort,it looks like you’ve really thought about this and put alot of time into it!!! Maybe next time you could write a bit more speech and make it a bit more longer.
