Can you explain your badge? I understand what LPS is for but why a bell and why the sea?

A former pupil called Amanda designed loirston primary school`s badge She chose to represent the school by the bell which was removed from the old cove school she showed our enviroment by the sea and the small butterfly. The butterfly was found once in the cove area and still to be found on the north east scotland is called Cupido Minimus or Small Blue.
Unfortunatly its habitat in cove,the cliff top quarry,was lost when the quarry was filled in.
