Michael M’s book review

This is my first draft so fell free to leave a coment

Pitt Street Pirate is about Roger Redbeard’s idea to build a pirate ship with his friends Sniffle Smith and Ellie Flinn. When they build their ship they sail it a lake in the city park, the author has invented some weird named characters and a funny exciting story.

Roger Redbeard is a boy who loves pirates so much he decides to build a pirate ship with his friends, Sniffle Smith, (so named by Terry Deary becaues he is always sniffing) and Ellie Flynn (The biggest and strongest girl). However the mayor’s daughter is always trying to stop them.

Most of the story is set in the city park. It is a huge park full of bushes, plants and large old trees. It also has a very big lake where they sail the ship, and in the middle of the lake is a small island full of luscious green grass and tall trees. Pitt Street where they live is a small town with just a few old houses, and a few people.

Terry Deary has made this plot exiting and action packed. When Roger Redbeard decides to build a pirate ship with his friends Sniffle and Eille they are very surprised but help him all the way. The boat is called Titanic and to their surprise it floats for a while and then it sinks. After that they build another boat, Titanic 2.

Pitt street pirates is a weird and wonder full story with only a few characters but the story still gets you hooked a few pages in because of the funny and chatty style the author writes in.

The story is a funny story and is aimed at children from about 8 to 13 years old, and maybe even adults the book is an easy read. It is not very big at all with only 72 pages, 7chapters and many funny pictures.
